moreby Peter Falkenberg Brown May 18, 2019 What is government but a collection of individuals working together to manage the affairs of a larger population? As individuals, each government worker has a choice. Will they recognize their equal status with every citizen of their country and work as servants to protect the sacred rights of all, or will they be corrupted by their power, as Lord Acton warned, and steer their government toward tyranny?
moreThis is the essay upon which my speech at the Gray Republicans' May 8, 2019 event on the Crisis of Immigration at the Southern Border was based. by Peter Falkenberg Brown May 13, 2019 In the flurry of opinions about immigration, border walls, compassion for immigrants and their children, economics, and an influx of crime, there is a larger, more urgent, and civilization-changing crisis: the real probability that open-borders immigration would destroy American sovereignty and exceptionalism.

~ Original publication: October, 2018. Updated on May 12, 2019 by Peter Falkenberg Brown May 12, 2019 If Islam were “just a religion,” studying it would not be necessary unless one simply wanted to learn about the religion.
However, Islam is not just a religion. It is also a political ideology that when put into practice results in loss of freedom, violence, and ultimately mass slavery of its populations. To many, this statement may seem “intolerant.” However, those who study Islam in depth, without apology for Islam, and those who study Islam’s historical record, will indeed find that Islam poses an existential threat to free civilizations.
This does not mean that “Muslims are bad.” That would be bigotry...

more~ REVISED AND EXPANDED IN 2019 by Peter Falkenberg Brown Apr 22, 2019 Sick of #IdentityPolitics? Tired of watching as humans are divided into hostile groups of oppressors versus oppressed by activists who thrive on discord? Do you believe that #AllLivesMatter with sacred, individual rights? It's time to reexamine the true identity of humans!
moreby Peter Falkenberg Brown Apr 8, 2019 In Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s book Strength to Love, he wrote: Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that. The healing of the human race requires an adjustment in the values of humanity. When love becomes the most valuable thing of all, then we do indeed have hope to abandon the revenge-driven tragedy of identity politics.
more~ How the Left created a cold civil war and why liberals and conservatives must unite against them by Peter Falkenberg Brown Mar 31, 2019 The Left has advanced to the cusp of victory because the United States did not engage a multi-generational enemy with a continual and adequate defense and offense. If an enemy wages a concerted attack against a group of people who are not engaged in fighting back both defensively and offensively, with an absolute commitment to win, it is only a matter of time before the enemy is completely victorious. This is the unfortunate reality of the United States, Canada, and most of Western Europe.
more~ Is the fetus a human being with sacred, inviolable rights, or is it just a clump of cells that might be inconvenient for a woman, much like a boil that can be removed at will? by Peter Falkenberg Brown Mar 5, 2019 The short answer to a “my body, my choice” woman is: “Madam, the baby in your womb is not your body. It is a separate and different mind and body of a living human being who does not belong to you.”
Even if the fetus is just a clump of cells, it’s very clear that a woman cannot produce a fetus on her own. It requires the participation of a man, even with the practice of artificial insemination. Without a man’s sperm there will be no fetus.

Newsby Peter Falkenberg Brown Apr 18, 2020 The shutdown seems to have saved many lives, which is a good thing, but as many people have said, we don't want the cure to be worse than the disease. Here's hoping that Gov. Mills will ease things open, in a common sense fashion: both businesses and recreational venues. People need to be able to sit in the sun and look at the ocean, in my opinion. It heals the soul and helps the body. Feb 13, 2020 Dr. Demi Kouzounas issued the following statement today regarding her filing for a People's Veto to L.D. 1083 to Repeal Ranked Choice Voting in Maine's Presidential Elections:
"One person, one vote is a bedrock American principle. Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) is a direct violation of that principle and threatens the rights of all Mainers and delegitimatizes our election process," said Dr. Kouzounas.
The people's veto effort will be managed by the Maine Republican Party's new ballot question committee, led by Chair Kouzounas.
