The FrontPage article is here: https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/272928/maine-educators-attack-bill-prohibit-political-sara-dogan Bill LD-589 was introduced by Republican Rep. Lawrence Lockman of Amherst, with cosponsors that include Rep. Amy Arata of New Gloucester. Here's a link to the text of the bill, at the Stop K-12 Indoctrination website (a website with fantastic resources for anyone who wants to stop K-12 indoctrination—I highly recommend it). https://www.stopk12indoctrination.org/maine-legislature-considers-code-of-ethics-for-k-12-teachers/ Here's more information on Rep Lockman: https://mehousegop.org/reps-l-p-2/larry-lockman/ Even if this doesn't pass the Democrat dominated state legislature, it's a cause that needs to be pushed again and again until it passes. It's time for Leftist K-12 indoctrination to stop.
